PROJECT DESCRIPTION
S&E is assisting ADB’s Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department (SDCC) in strengthening Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management (CCDRM) integration in country programming and dialogues in Lao PDR, including the development of the next Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) in line with ADB’s Strategy 2030.
SERVICES PROVIDED BY STRATEGY & ECONOMICS
S&E’s tasks entail: examining the institutional and policy context for CCDRM in Lao PDR including climate finance; assessing key climate change mitigation, adaptation, and disaster risk management issues and risks; identifying support needs and gaps and identifying potential entry points for ADB to support Lao PDR to address these issues including identification of potential investment opportunities and their implementation approaches, and capacity-building activities.
